I graduated from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work with my MSS in 2022, after two year-long practicums working in high acuity care (at Friends Hospital) and counseling in an outpatient setting (at the Wedge Medical Centers). After graduating, I worked in high acuity care for people dealing with substance abuse disorders, and high acuity for teens dealing with suicidal ideation. I’m looking forward to the long-term work I can enjoy with outpatient clients of all ages and with different types of diagnoses and challenges. I like to take a client-centered approach to therapy. I want to help you improve your relationships with yourself and others by understanding your patterns emotionally and behaviorally. Through insight and empathy, you can work through and process difficult aspects and events in your life, and find new meaning and new ways of being. I have practiced working with people who have a diversity of experiences, including those from the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. I have also worked with those who struggle with mood disorders (including depression and anxiety), addiction/substance abuse, codependency, trauma & abuse, and self-destructive tendencies. I have a special interest in working with trauma and dissociation and want to help people hold complicated and painful feelings in better ways. Please reach out to start your work with me! I look forward to meeting and getting to know you and your strengths and obstacles.
