Kelly Borich
A licensed social worker devotes heart, mind, and soul to empowering clients. I honor the depth of the human experience. I have an extensive background in somatic interventions based on my 20 years of experience as a nationally certified massage therapist. I help clients connect to body and self through deepening awareness skills. I encourage connection to support systems, resources, and community. I tap into strengths, values, and personal growth points and focus on evoking unyielding curiosity about the deeper self-related to behaviors, emotions, thought patterns, and the unique messages from the body.
I join alongside my clients in their journey to overcome life roadblocks, past traumas, and personal challenges & transitions using cognitive, behavioral, somatic, and mindfulness approaches. I am affirming to the LGBTQIA+ community & trauma-informed. I am trained in acceptance commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and somatic/mindfulness approaches.
Every individual has a unique narrative and lived experience worthy of being heard and understood. Perseverance and strength move us through the labyrinth of life, and the human condition is beautifully complex. Our growth comes from making meaning of painful & difficult adversities. The human experience is shared, and we do not walk this life path alone.
