My goals are to offer a safe, confidential space where clients feel supported in their work toward positive change. I feel therapy should be client-centered and collaborative. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia. I received my Masters in Social Work from West Virginia University and I am Licensed Social Worker and a Certified Sexuality Educator through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. I work with all age groups and serve the needs of the individuals, couples and families. I also have a great deal of experience working with individuals that have Developmental Disabilities. My area of expertise include: intimacy and relationship issues, infertility, grief, issues of abuse and trauma, parenting, depression, anxiety, personal safety and healthy boundaries. I have had the opportunity, over the last 14 years, to provide numerous lectures and workshops on various psychological disorders and sexuality issues. I believe that each person is an individual with their own positive qualities and unique needs. I offer therapeutic techniques that enhance progress, such as: psycho-education, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, relaxation and stress management. I provide a non-judgmental environment that allows individuals to express their feelings and explore their inner strengths, in and effort to promote positive change.
