Maureen Rebar, LCSW is a 1992 graduate of Marywood University Scranton, PA with a Master’s degree in Social Work. She began her career in child residential mental health care and spent almost 20 years in acute and long term care social work and hospice serving as Director of social services and admissions in two local nursing facilities. She has currently been a program coordinator at the US Dept. of Veteran’s Affairs VA Medical Center for 14 years where she worked most of those years with homeless Veterans experiencing mental and physical health issues and addiction. She has maintained a private practice the past 11 years and has joined Dr. Kuna and Associates in 2019. She specializes in adult and geriatric mental health. Maureen provides a relaxed, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere for her clients and wants to hear “their story” because everyone is unique in their life story although we all may experience similar problems making us never alone.
