Upcoming Event: Women’s Business Breakfast

Where: The Art of Floating, Bloomsburg, PA

When: Wednesday, August 30th, 2014

Time: 7:30 a.m.

Our very own Sara Grier, LCSW, CCPT will be talking to the Art of Floating, in Bloomsburg, PA.

The Art of Floating offers a unique experience of relaxation and rejuvenation for both body & mind. With 5 flotation tanks, they are the largest float center on the East Coast of the USA. Floating is a wonderful experience of the deepest relaxation. Flotation tanks are used widely to help with stress, anxiety, jet lag, and to improve concentration and creativity.

Sara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Behavioral Specialist Consultant with 15+ years of experience in the mental health field and counseling. Sara’s counseling and psychotherapy experience includes sexual abuse (both offender and victim) and processing the painful effects of trauma. Her experience includes disorders of mood, anxiety, depression, adjustment, and personality in both adults and children. Sara is currently licensed in both Pennsylvania(LCSW) and Ohio(LSW) and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).

Kenny Luck is an author and educator from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Marywood University in Scranton, PA, Luck holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and graduated with a Master's Degree in Education from the same institution in 2010. He has written for local publications such as The Weekender. His published work includes: Thumbing Through Thoreau (2010), NEPATIZED (2011), and 101 Facts of Love (2014). Luck has worked in public relations and media, and has taught college-level writing courses at several colleges and universities around Northeastern Pennsylvania. In 2010, he was voted "Best Author" by Electric City readers.
